Places I’ve Been

The following are some places I’ve been lately.   These were particularly interesting:

John Frye’s post "Jesus and the (Dis)order of Service."  A re-telling of a portion of Mark.  Very good.

Carson Reed’s post on thirteen suggestions for preaching from Fred Craddock.

John Willis has written regarding "Widows, Orphans, and Aliens."

The New York Times published an article regarding the Evangelicals’ fear of losing their teens.

Check out this site that focuses on issues surrounding step-families.

Christianity Today on the top 50 books that have shaped Evangelicals.

Scot McKnight wrote to a woman who was struggling with God and the Bible in part because of an abusive past.  Scot McKnight’s response is well worth the read.
